Guerilla Science: Intergalactic Travel Bureau (Burning Man 2018)
A Guerilla Science immersive space-travel installation I produced at Burning Man in 2018.
What it is. The Intergalactic Travel Bureau, Guerilla Science’s immersive space-travel installation, produced at Burning Man in 2018 during my Guerilla Science producer period — a walk-in “travel agency” that books a personalized trip through real astronomy and planetary science.
What I did. Producer. I ran the on-playa production: build, logistics, scheduling, and the operational support that keeps an immersive science experience running for a continuous walk-up audience. I produced it for Guerilla Science.
Why it’s here. It is the second of the two Burning Man installations from this period (after Flavor Feast in 2017) and one of the better-documented pieces in the Guerilla Science catalogue.
