I'm a registered nurse, licensed in California in July 2026. I graduated from the Samuel Merritt ABSN in June 2026, closing with a senior preceptorship in the TICU at CPMC Davies in San Francisco. Looking for a Bay Area new-grad RN role, with a psychiatric, behavioral-health, FQHC, or community-mental-health bias.
Current roles
At Samuel Merritt I was a teaching assistant in Community Health under Prof. Sarah Koster, supporting clinical course operations across the Episcopal Community Services sites in San Francisco (The Crosby, The Henry, The Alder, Mentone). I'm also a research collaborator with Dr. Elizabeth Sibson-Tuan, the ABSN Program Director, on Connect to Meds, a manuscript on medication access for marginally-housed residents of San Francisco's 6th Street corridor. At Well3, I worked in behavioral health patient care, coordinating among pharmacists, patients, and primary care providers, and translating documentation into process changes.
ABSN rotations to date: acute psychiatry at Zuckerberg San Francisco General, community health at ECS, adult med-surg and telemetry at Kaiser Walnut Creek and Alta Bates Berkeley, maternity at CPMC Van Ness, NICU, ED, ICU, and OR at Sutter Summit, and pediatrics in Alameda County. Full rotation list with faculty on the CV page.
Where this is headed
The longer arc is psychiatric mental-health nurse practice, the PMHNP track. This summer I started volunteering with a university clinical-research group working on psychedelics and mental health. My bioengineering and experience-design background is most useful on the biosensing and data side of that work, and the participant-facing side is where I'm headed as a clinician.
